Poster produced for a special posthumous exhibition of Flavin's work "Dan Flavin: A Retrospective" at Dia Beacon, New York, NY, in association with the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C., from October 3, 2004 - August 12, 2007. The exhibition included some 45 objects and installations, most of which use the medium of fluorescent light, as well as a significant group of drawings, sketches, and collage-constructions. The sculptural work featured on this poster is Flavin's 1977 light sculpture "Untitled (In Honor of Harold Joachim) 3" which was created with pink, yellow, blue, and green fluorescent lights measuring 8 feet square.
