CONDITION: Good antique condition. Beautiful all-over patina to the rattan and wood base. Some small areas of loss around the bottom woven corners. - See photos.
DETAILS: Large Chinese hand-woven wicker rattan and bamboo storage basket with sturdy circular lid. Arched wood square base. Constructed in the late 19th or early 20th century. Unique concentric circles on the lid with with diamond-patterned engraved wood. Rattan handles strengthened with strong wire. Very generous and spacious interior that is reinforced with bamboo. This charming rustic piece could be used as a side table, hamper, or decoratively in your bedroom, living room, or covered patio.
