MATERIAL: Sterling Silver (Stamped 925), Abalone Shell, Enamel
CONDITION: Excellent vintage condition; silver recently polished to a high shine. No known damages. One post is slightly bent. – See photos
DETAILS: Intricately made unique pair of double-drop earrings, made in Mexico by TAXCO in the late 1970s-early 1980s, featuring a sterling silver frame with a iridescent holographic abalone shell inlayed into black enamel. Decorative motifs of eagles and natural elements. Butterfly backings. Stamped on the back: 925 MEXICO TF32 (The “T” represents Taxco, and the “F” represents the first initial of the silversmith. The number indicates that the maker is the 32nd smith)
